日米のKindleの統合エラーから解決するまでのやり取り

Amazon.comとAmazon.co.jpのKindleの統合でエラーが発生

ボクは以前、米国のAmazon（Amazon.com）のKindleストアで電子書籍を買ったことがあります。

その後、日本のAmazon（Amazon.co.jp）でKindleストアが始まったので、今はそちらを利用しています。

2つのストアを管理するのは面倒なので統合することができるんですが、ボクの場合はエラーが出て統合できませんでした。

そこで米国のAmazonに問い合わせをしたところ、以下のメールが来ました。

米国のAmazonから日本のAmazonにボクの問い合わせが転送され、日本のAmazonのカスタマーサービスから来たメールです。

テキトーに日本語に訳したので、ご参考に。

In addition, I checked your account and found that Kindle for iPhone and Kindle for Android have been registered to your account of Amazon.co.jp. In this case, there is a possibility that an error occurs after you consolidate your accounts.

あと、Kindle for iPhoneアプリとKindle for Androidアプリがあなたの日本Amazonアカウントに登録されていることも確認されました。この場合、アカウント統合の際にエラーが発生することがあります。

Therefore, we would like you to de-register your Kindle Apps which have been already registered to your account of Amazon.co.jp. to consolidate your accounts.

ですので、日本のAmazonに登録されているそれらのアプリ（デバイス）を登録解除していただけますか？アカウント統合のために必要です。

Here is how to de-register your device:

Go to the Your Account page: http://www.amazon.co.jp/your-account

日本のAmazonの http://www.amazon.co.jp/your-account を開いてください。
To change the language preference to English, click the link at the top of the page: "Click here to see in English".

言語を英語に変更してください。ページの"Click here to see in English"をクリックすればできます。
Click 'Manage Your Kindle'.

'Manage Your Kindle' をクリックします。
Sign in with your e-mail address and password.

あなたのメールアドレスとパスワードを入力してサインインします。
Click 'Manage Your Devices'.

'Manage Your Devices' をクリックします。
Click 'Deregister' which is under an 'Actions' and next to Kindle for iPhone and Kindle for Android.

'Actions' という項目内の Kindle for iPhone や Kindle for Android の隣にある 'Deregister' をクリックします。

If you have Kindle device or Kindle Apps registered to your account of Amazon.com, we would like you to de-register those via 'Manage Your Devices' in 'Manage Your Kindle' at Amazon.com (http://www.amazon.com/manageyourkindle).

整理すると

すでに日本のKindleストアで購入済みの場合は自分で統合できない。
すでに日本もしくはアメリカのKindleにデバイスが登録されているとエラーになる可能性がある。

そこで、デバイスの登録を解除し、メールアドレスなど必要な返信をしたところ、2回目のメールが来ました。

Click “Learn more about transferring to Amazon.co.jp” to change preferred Shopping Site to Amazon.co.jp. Please follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setting. You can change preferred Shopping Site at any time in Country Settings under Manage Your Kindle (http://www.amazon.co.jp/mykindle) on Amazon.co.jp.
